New regulations (Part P) came into force in 2006 meaning that only qualified electricians can carry out works within a kitchen, bathroom or outside (external lighting or supplies). With insurance companies now pushing for electrical certificates for work carried out it is becoming even more important to get the right people in to do the job from the start.
